State Health Officer Scott Harris announced this afternoon ( March 13, 2020)  that the Alabama Department of Public Health is setting up a call center for people wanting information about being tested for the coronavirus.

Harris said the service will be available starting at 8 a.m. Saturday (March 14, 2002).   He said it’s a resource for people who are concerned about whether they need to be tested and how they could go about it. The number is 1-888-264-2256.
